It’s time for St. Paul’s Vacation Bible School!!!!!

Enroll your child(ren) for five days of Planet Zoom at our 2010 Vacation Bible School where bold bee-lievers “zip-zap and zoom for Jesus!”

FOR:          All 3-year-old (potty-trained please) through 4^th grade children

                   9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. daily

COST:         $5 suggested per child with

$10 max per family

The Board of Christian Growth is excited to announce that St. Paul’s will be a screening site for a feature film being distributed by 20th Century Fox called I Am. I AM is a movie that shows the heart of God for His people. I AM is the Biblical name of God, and the title character of a film in which God aids ten people in Los Angeles as they struggle with the effects of failing to follow the Ten Commandments in the modern day. I Am is most often described as a “Christian Crash.” Please watch for more information throughout September. See www.iamthemovie.com for more information about the film. Please take advantage of the opportunity for an enjoyable and affordable evening at the movies!

Events listed are for members and non-members. Please feel free to bring a guest (or many guests, the more the merrier!) to share in the fellowship.

Mark your calendars….TIME TO GROW for the 2010-11 session will be starting September 8^th.  This year we will again be having dinner available from 5:00-6:00, with the opening in church at 6:00 p.m. and classes starting after the opening.  The opening in church is very important, so please plan on joining us in the church at 6 p.m.  Looking forward to seeing you in September!

Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?

Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.

Our facilitators for the weekend are Pastor Jeff Schubert and his wife Judy Schubert from Divine Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hartland. Join us in Appleton the fourth weekend in October for a time of relaxation and renewal as we learn more about marriage and ourselves through the eyes of our Lord and Savior. Make time for study and fellowship with your spouse and other sisters and brothers in Christ.
