Semiannual St. Paul’s Fish Dinner
Friday, September 19, 2008
4:00-7:00 p.m. in the Gymnasium
210 E. Pleasant Street
Oconomowoc, WI 53066
Join us for what has become a community tradition!
You will not want to miss this all-you-can-eat meal!
Enjoy fried or baked fish, German and American potato salads, French fries, potato pancakes, applesauce, cole slaw, rye bread, and choice of beverage. Hot dogs available upon request for other appetites :)
Adults eat for $8, children 5-10 years $4, and free for children 4 years and younger.
Still enjoy our dinner for the same price even though grocery and gas prices are going through the roof all around us! We are holding our fall fish dinner to enjoy the company of our church family as well as friends throughout our community and to raise funds to be matched under the Care in Congregations program.
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will add to the fundraising efforts of St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church through the Care in Congregations program. Proceeds from the dinner and matching funds will aid in the ministry of our church by covering some of the moving expenses for our new Youth and Family Life Shepherd and his family; providing start-up funds for a Marriage Enrichment Retreat to be held this fall; and for sheet music for worship.
Anyone can join in a volunteer activity sponsored by Thrivent Financial. Please contact Jody Jackson (jkmail94@yahoo.com or 262-391-8620) or Dennis Zastrow (262-567-3356) to donate goods for the event or to volunteer before, during or after the event. It is really a fun way to get to know others in our church and community! |
