Music is a way that our students choose to express themselves and to use their talents to glorify God.  The following programs are thriving ways our students get involved in music. 

MUSIC IN THE CURRICULUM                                                                                                   The curriculum contains one period a week for a formal Music class in which the students in grades K-5 study music theory, history and appreciation.  Our 3rd and 4th graders also learn how to play the recorder as part of the music curriculum for those levels.

BAND PROGRAM                                                                                                                            In grades 5-8, our students have the opportunity to take band lessons through a cooperative program with Lake Country Lutheran High School.  This program allows each student one individual lesson each week as well as group band rehearsal at school during the week and also at LCLHS with other band students from the area.

CHOIR                                                                                                                                               All students in grades PK4-5 participate in a choir that will practice one or more times per week and sing at a variety of different church services, special events in the school and community and for chapel services.

MIDDLE SCHOOL MUSIC ELECTIVE                                                                                         In the middle school (grades 6-8), our students have the option of participating in a variety of different musical offerings.  There is a middle school choir, handbells, guitar classes and human videos.

SPECIAL EVENTS                                                                                                                          The entire school comes together for a Christmas Worship service and for a Spring Concert in May. Every student participates and is involved in these special events.  Other events such as:  musicals, dramas, special concerts and other activities take place periodically as well.
