At SPLS we believe there to be a very important relationship between God's creation and learning. Our teachers make every effort to provide opportunities for the children to be outside to learn more about our natural world and how to care for it.
At the middle school level, science classes study water samples and ecosystems in Fowler Lake and the Oconomowoc River. Project Wet and Adopt-A-Lake have been incorporated into our curriculum.
Outdoor Educational trips to Camp LuWiSoMo in Wild Rose, WI for the 5th and 6th graders and South Dakota for the 8th graders are also planned annually.
