We pray as our Lord has taught us…
Jesus often went off to pray for his Father. He prayed constantly even as He hung on the cross. As part of Jesus’ sermon on the Mount Jesus gave his disciples a model or example of prayer, the Lord’s Prayer, which has become a fixed part of our Lutheran worship. This Lenten Season, we will explore the various parts of the Lord’s Prayer, enriching your understanding of this intimate communication with our Creator.
Our midweek Lenten services will be held on Wednesdays at 12:15 & 6:30 pm. There will be a 15-minute hymn sing prior to each service.
A soup supper, to benefit the Dominican Republic, will be served from 5:15 – 6:15 pm every Wednesday.
