BOARD OF CHRISTIAN GROWTH (BOCG)

The Board is responsible for the spiritual growth of the congregational members through educational and fellowship opportunities. Responsibilities include new member integration, adult Christian education, Thee Bookstore and various fellowship activities.

 

BOARD OF CHURCH PROPERTIES

This Board makes sure the building is kept clean because it is God’s house. We help to keep all the boards and organizations working towards one goal – “Reaching, Serving and Growing Disciples” – by maintaining the property and keeping it attractive.

 

BOARD OF EARLY CHILDHOOD MINISTRY(ECM)

This Board is responsible for overseeing programs for the nurturing and caring of infants and children through Pre-K. These children may come from St. Paul’s and the surrounding community. The primary focus is to demonstrate God’s love for them. This Board oversees the operations of Kinder Place, coordination of child care for events and preschool ministry.

 

BOARD OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

This Board is responsible for the Christian education programs and the Day school. The Board also oversees the Warrior Booster Club, Parent Teacher League (PTL), Library Committee and various other curriculum committees. This Board sets and reviews policies, and reviews and approves curriculum. A major goal of the Board is to assure that the mission of the congregation, “Reaching, Serving and Growing Disciples” is carried out through these areas of education.

 

BOARD OF ELDERS

The primary concern of this Board is the spiritual welfare of all St. Paul’s members, This involves a variety of activities, including supervision of worship services, evaluating and reviewing worship attendance, and Communion participation, the acceptance of new members, establishing and monitoring confirmation standards and instruction, and anything that impacts our members spiritually.

 

BOARD OF EVANGELISM

This Board includes public relations, and helps educate members and new members, and encourages visitors to share their faith and love in Jesus Christ with others. The Board strives to get all involved in sharing Christ with everyone within St. Paul’s and in the community. The Board helps to create a friendly and loving church family where spiritual needs are met through church and community opportunities. The Board oversees brochures, the pictorial directory, and Vacation Bible School (VBS). 

 

BOARD OF SERVICE MISSIONS AND OUTREACH (SMO)

The basic objective of this Board is to respond to human need and potential expressed through Christian love and concern by providing physical, spiritual and material support as we share the Good News of Salvation within our congregation, our community, and throughout the world. 

 

BOARD OF STEWARDSHIP

This Board helps promote the principles of Biblical Stewardship, which involves the time, talents and financial support of the congregation for furthering the spiritual growth of its members. It is the Board’s purpose to make sure the financial affairs of the congregation are conducted in a spiritual and responsible way. 

 

BOARD OF YOUTH

This Board ministers to the young people of St. Paul’s, involving them in the work of Christ, providing for their spiritual growth and nurture, and promoting genuine Christian fellowship, worship, bible study and servant events.

 

PARISH PLANNING COUNCIL

The Parish Planning Council (PPC) shall consist of the Executive Director, the three Assistant Executive Directors, the Treasurer, the nine Directors of the Administrative Boards, and the Pastors of the Congregation. The PPC is primarily an administrative body, but serves as a forum where the activities of the Administrative Boards may be discussed, evaluated, and coordinated, and where all such activities may be integrated into an overall congregational program.
