As a result of God’s blessings, your hard work (through Him) and your commitment to the campaign we are making progress! As of today, our “Free to Serve” campaign pledge total is $1.1 million. We are closer to paying down our mortgage, blessing our school, and hiring a full-time Director of Music.

Pastor Lance O’Donnell & Jim Abel

Craftsman Jim Abel made this beautiful cabinet that is designed to be filled as donations come in for the Free to Serve capital campaign. When this is filled Phase One is complete and the full-time Music Director can be called. Thanks, Jim!

Your donation to the Free To Serve Campaign not only helps St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, you are also helping people in our community and worldwide!

We have paid down our mortgage by $350,000!

The Lutheran High School Association of Greater Milwaukee has received $17,600. These funds ultimately help students discover their purpose and potential through an outstanding education so they learn and live in Christ long after they graduate, and become servant leaders for the church and society.

Family Promise of Waukesha County has received $12,906. They have been able to reach out to more local families in need and provide them with shelter, meals, and also help them work towards permanent housing and sustainable independence.

Dominican Republic has also received $12,906 and is helping to build a school and church in Licey. You can find project updates here:

FP thank youSt. Paul’s Congregation,

I have been meaning to write and thank you for your incredible contribution to Family Promise. To be designated this year as your local organization was truly an honor and blessing.

We thank you also for helping in the way of being a supporting congregation as well. We hope to reach out to more families in need of shelter and comfort as well as have opportunity to develop our program to help with sustainability of stable housing and home life. With our new director coming, I know this will be a fantastic year.

Blessings to you all,

Marjore Thompson, Board Chair
