St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, School & Kinder Place

Kinder Place is a childcare ministry of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. We are committed to working with families to give you the security of knowing that you have made a good choice for your childcare needs. Kinder Place accomplishes this mission by guiding young children in growth and academic learning in a Christian environment.

Parents are pleased to find that their children enjoy the atmosphere of our center and thrive in it. There is a unique joy in being with other children and sharing discoveries of the wonderful world the Lord has given us. Through daily activities and teaching of God’s word, we are able to strengthen their faith and teach children to apply what they learn to all of life’s activities and opportunities. The full cooperation of parents, teachers and the congregation is needed to carry out our mission of giving children a sound, positive Christian-centered education.

The curriculum of Kinder Place is also devoted to development of social skills, emotional well being, large motor growth, self-help skills, language development and building cognitive skills. All of the learning is done in age appropriate classrooms with pre-planned activities. We also provide inter-centers that are planned and created so children are able to select activities of their choice and engage in self guided learning activities when the teacher is involved in one on one learning with another child.

The teachers of Kinder Place submit lesson plans to the Director. The staff provides planned activities during which time they work with children individually, in small groups or in large group activities. All plans are created with a monthly theme which is either a Chapel or a General theme. The teacher’s weekly lesson plans are posted in their classroom to help inform parents of the fun and educational experiences in which your child will be engaged while at Kinder Place.

Teachers treat each child as an individual and rely on a variety of equipment in their daily activities. Children are offered guidance, support and encouragement so that each child can develop at their own pace.

We are staffed with qualified, compassionate teachers who participate in on-going educational training. The purpose is to keep up to date on the latest educational development methods. The staff is committed to providing caring, nurturing and loving environment to all children entering our child care center.
